President Murmu and PM Modi wished the countrymen on ‘Shri Krishna Janmashtami’

New Delhi, August 16 . There is enthusiasm all over the country on Saturday regarding Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The country’s President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished the countrymen on Janmashtami.

President Murmu posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and wished the countrymen on Janmashtami. She talked about following the path shown by Shri Krishna and strengthening the nation.

She wrote, “Heartiest wishes on Janmashtami! Lord Krishna has shown the whole humanity the path of duty according to religion and being engaged in the welfare of all creatures. On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, everyone should take a pledge that we will follow the path shown by Lord Krishna and strengthen the society and the nation.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished the people of the country on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami and called it a holy festival of faith, joy and enthusiasm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, “Best wishes to all countrymen on Janmashtami. May this holy festival of faith, joy and enthusiasm infuse new energy and new enthusiasm in the lives of all of you. Jai Shri Krishna!”

Earlier on the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had mentioned Shri Krishna from the ramparts of the Red Fort. He had talked about starting Mission ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ in the name of Shri Krishna’s weapon.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated every year as the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. On this auspicious occasion, Lord Krishna is worshiped, and people go to the temple to seek his blessings. On this day people wear new clothes, observe fasts, decorate homes and places of worship and prepare sweet dishes made of milk.
