Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s niece said, ‘Employment is very important for youth’

Chandigarh | After the historic victory of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Punjab Assembly elections, the newly elected Chief Minister of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh will take oath in his native village Khatkar Kalan in Nawanshahr. Expressing happiness, Bhagat Singh’s niece Jasmeet Kaur said that it is a good thing that this function is happening in our village but has also expressed concern. Jasmeet Kaur, while giving her opinion to IANS, said that it is very happy that this ceremony is being held in the village. But just putting a picture does not solve the issue. People want employment, if the Chief Minister will follow the path of Bhagat Singh, then it will be very good. Eliminate corruption, build hospitals and provide good education facilities to children, if not all this, then how will children progress.

After Bhagwant Mann becomes the Chief Minister, work with all your heart, because Bhagwat Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are talking about eradicating corruption. If people get employment then everything will end. Students are walking around with degrees in hand, kids are going drunk because they don’t have jobs.

He further said that for the progress of Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal chose Bhagwant Mann and the intentions of Bhagwat Mann were the same as Bhagat Singh from the beginning. Many villages in Punjab are getting empty. Children should be prevented from getting drunk.

I feel sad when I go to a village, ask about drugs, some children express concern about jobs. This is the first thing I would say after taking an oath as the Chief Minister. Something should be done for the children, everyone is going abroad. This is happening due to lack of business in Punjab.

In fact, the ancestral house of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in Khatkar Kalan still exists, which is looked after by the Archaeological Department. Along with this, the Punjab government has also built a huge memorial and museum here. This monument is spread over an area of 11 acres.

Apart from this, preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are going on at a brisk pace. A place has been prepared for the farmers’ 100-acre crop-cutting program. However, compensation will be given to the farmers in lieu of the crop, because the farmers have given their consent.

Lakhs of people are expected to attend the ceremony and thousands of police forces have been deployed. The process of reaching hundreds of workers continues.
