Vikas Dubey killing news: Vikas Dubey has been killed in an encounter in Kanpur. The encounter took place between Vikas Dubey & Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) when the deadly gangster tried to escape. Vikas suffered 2 bullets shots and he later died due to his injuries. Now Vikas Dubey has been declared dead by the hospital.

Vikas Dubey is the main accused in the killing of eight police personnel in the Kanpur encounter case.

Vikas Dubey, who was arrested from Ujjain in MP on Thursday, reached Kanpur from Ujjain in MP. As the UP STF along with Vikas Dubey reached Kanpur, Vikas tried to escape, then the encounter took place. The encounter took place at Sachendi border in Kanpur.

Four police constables have also being injured

Kanpur SSP said, “The vehicle which was bringing back Vikas Dubey overturned. He got out of the vehicle, snatched pistols of the police personnel and tried to flee. An encounter broke out and he was shot. Four constables have also injured.”

“Gangster Vikas Dubey attempted to flee after the car overturned. Police tried to make him surrender, during which he fired at the policemen. He was injured in retaliatory firing by police. He was later rushed to the hospital,” SP Kanpur West added.
