Recently actor Tusshar Kapoor, South Indian actress Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Rathi came to Delhi to promote their upcoming film Kapkapiii. The event was held at Connaught Place, New Delhi. The film is scheduled to release on 23 May 2025.
‘Kapkapiii’ is a horror-comedy film directed by Sangeeth Sivan, directed by Sangeeth Sivan and produced by Jayesh Patel under the banner of Zee Studios and Bravo Entertainment. Starring Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Siddhi Idnani, the film is a remake of the 2023 Malayalam film ‘Romancham’. The screenplay of the film is adapted by Kumar Priyadarshi and Saurabh Anand. While talking to the media at the promotional event, Tusshar told about the film, ‘This film is based on the strange reactions of people, because people react strangely due to fear. There are many funny scenes in this film. We believe that the ghostly jokes, haunted actions, loud laughter, ghost groans, flickering lights during the film will make the audience scream in laughter. Mixing comedy with terrifying horror, ‘Kapkapiii’ gives a glimpse of the scary but fun world of a haunted house. It is scary, crazy and absolutely crazy. Overall, the audience will definitely like this film.’
The most special thing is that through this film, Bollywood’s favorite comic pair Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor are coming together again. The important fact of the film is that this film directed by Sangeet Sivan is one of his last projects, which got completed during post production. Sangeet Sivan passed away in May last year. Now, a year after his demise, his film is all set to release in theatres on May 23. Notably, the film, directed by the late Sangeeth Sivan, pays tribute to his legacy of zany comedy and genre mixups.
