New Delhi, October 13 There was a time in Bollywood in the year 2008, when a wall of enmity was erected between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. At actress Katrina Kaif’s birthday party, both the superstars had a heated argument, after which the ‘Karan-Arjun’ of Hindi cinema did not even like to see each other.
The fan clubs of both used to wage a war on social media for their respective stars. But, these two veteran superstars of Bollywood became friends by forgetting their years-long enmity at the behest of one person. That person was Baba Siddiqui. Who was shot dead late at night.
Baba Siddiqui was a well-known face in Maharashtra politics. He was a three-time MLA from Bandra West Assembly constituency. However, after staying in the Congress for a long time, he joined the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) faction led by Ajit Pawar.
Baba Siddiqui was said to be very close to Bollywood stars. His friendship with Salman Khan was especially deep. Baba Siddiqui used to organize Iftar party every year on Eid. In which artists from TV, politics, sports, films used to participate. Salman and Shahrukh also used to attend this party every year.
In the year 2013, Baba Siddiqui organized an Iftar party on the occasion of Eid. Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan were present in this party. In this party, Baba Siddiqui made the two actors friends again.
When Salman is meeting everyone in that party, he also extends a hand of friendship towards Shahrukh Khan sitting on a chair. Shahrukh also holds the hand extended by Salman Khan and hugs him. Baba Siddiqui played an important role behind this. Baba Siddiqui took both the stars with him to the party for a conversation and ended their years-old enmity.
After this, every year Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan attended the Iftar party organized by Baba Siddiqui. The friendship of both deepened later. Salman has expressed Shahrukh Khan’s hard work and his desire to become a superstar like him on many platforms. When Shahrukh Khan’s career was on the decline, Salman fulfilled his friendship with Shahrukh by giving cameos in many of his films. Salman’s cameo in ‘Pathan’ became a guarantee of making the film a hit. At the same time, Shahrukh also fulfilled his friendship by doing a cameo in Salman’s ‘Tiger-3’.
