Patna, Oct 13 . After the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai, Bihar’s Purnia MP Pappu Yadav on Sunday said that if the law allows, he will finish the network of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi within 24 hours.
Pappu Yadav also criticized the law and order of the country and especially Maharashtra. He said, “A criminal sitting in jail is challenging the government and killing people and everyone is a mute spectator. Bishnoi was involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala and Karni Sena chief and now he is involved in the murder of an industrialist cum politician.”
Pappu Yadav said, “If the law allows, I will finish the entire network of this despicable criminal Lawrence Bishnoi within 24 hours.”
Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav has openly criticised the Maharashtra government for the deteriorating law and order situation in Mumbai. Referring to the tragic murder of a prominent leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai’s posh Bandra area, Yadav raised questions over the NDA government’s governance in the state.
Emphasising his personal ties with Baba Siddiqui, Tejashwi Yadav said Siddiqui was a native of Gopalganj in Bihar and he used to meet him frequently during his Mumbai visits. Recently, he also met Siddiqui and his son.
The Leader of Opposition expressed concern over Siddiqui’s murder. He believes that the incident highlights the deteriorating security situation in the state.
‘Y’ category protectee Baba Siddiqui (66) was shot dead in Mumbai’s Bandra East on Friday night. He was shot near his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office. Three men opened fire during Dussehra festivities.
According to sources, two suspects arrested in Baba Siddiqui’s murder have claimed that they are associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
