Yogi took oath as Chief Minister, Keshav, Brajesh Pathak became Deputy Chief Minister

Lucknow | Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of UP for the second time today. Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Yogi. Keshav Prasad and Brajesh Pathak took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers on this occasion.

Keshav Prasad Maurya has again taken oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Despite the defeat in the assembly elections, the BJP high command has kept faith in him. At the same time, Brajesh Pathak, who was the Law Minister, has been made Deputy Chief Minister. He has taken the oath of office and secrecy. Brajesh Pathak’s stature has been increased in the party. It has been decided that BJP is now changing the leadership of Brahmins.

The BJP, which is returning to power with a thumping majority in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, has also got the leader of the legislature party in the form of Yogi Adityanath. BJP’s focus is on Mission 2024, in view of this, in Yogi Adityanath Cabinet 2.0, along with caste and regional equation, the respect of some MLAs who were in the old cabinet has also been retained.

Former Uttarakhand governor Baby Rani Maurya has got a place in the cabinet. He had resigned from his post before the assembly elections. Swatantra Dev Singh has been made a minister in the second term of the Yogi government. He is the UP BJP President.

Suresh Kumar Khanna, MLA from Shahjahanpur, has got a place in the Yogi cabinet. Apart from this, Surya Pratap Shahi has also taken oath in the Yogi government. Shahi is counted among the tallest leaders of the BJP. Apart from this, Nand Gopal Nandi has got a place in the second term of the Yogi government. Nandi has been elected MLA from Prayagraj South seat. Nandi has become an MLA for the third time.

Jaiveer Singh has been made a minister in the Yogi government. He is an MLA from Mainpuri Legislative Assembly. Jaiveer has also been a minister in the Mulayam and Mayawati governments. Mathura’s Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary has got a place in the Yogi cabinet. He has taken the oath of office and secrecy. He has also been a minister in the Mayawati government. Choudhary has been a five-time MLA from the Chhatra Vidhan Sabha.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi and National President of Bharatiya Janata Party JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah are present on the stage. Apart from this, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, BJP Organization General Secretary Sunil Bansal, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states are also present.
