First cabinet expansion of Himachal government, two MLAs took oath as ministers.

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla administered the oath of office and secrecy to two newly appointed cabinet ministers, Rajesh Dharmani and Yadvinder Goma.

This is the first cabinet expansion in the one-year-old Sukhwinder Sukhu government, taking the total number of ministers to 11. There is still a vacancy in the cabinet.

Rajesh Dharmani, 51, is a three-time MLA from Ghumarwin in Bilaspur district. 37-year-old Yadvinder Goma has been elected MLA from Jaisinghpur for the second time. Both are engineers and have also done an MBA.

Chief Minister Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, along with their cabinet colleagues and government officials, were present for the ceremony at Raj Bhavan. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena conducted the proceedings.
