Mukesh Ahlawat and Gopal Rai spoke to IANS after taking oath as ministers in the new Delhi government. Mukesh Ahlawat said that first of all I am grateful to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who made me worthy that I became a minister today after becoming an MLA. For this, I also thank Arvind Kejriwal from the bottom of my heart, who put faith in me. I will try to complete his unfinished works. Many important works have been stalled for the last seven-eight months.

Now we will complete all those works. Gopal Rai said that we are all members of Arvind Kejriwal’s team. We will try our best to take forward all the work started by him along with the public. In the coming months, we have many immediate challenges, like air pollution. Along with this, we will also focus on pending works. We are confident that together we will be able to make Delhi better. He said that the love of the public is with Arvind Kejriwal and will remain. From tomorrow, Arvind Kejriwal is going to the public court. I am confident that elections will be held soon in Delhi and Arvind Kejriwal’s government will be re-elected with a huge majority. Kailash Gehlot said that our only resolution is to work for the people of Delhi and bring Arvind Kejriwal back. We will continue to work for the people under his leadership, as we have been doing before. We will work according to his ideas and guidance. Aam Aadmi Party MLA Imran Hussain, who became a minister in the Atishi government, said that I express my gratitude to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He showed confidence in me and I thank him.

We are already working according to the guidelines of Chief Minister Kejriwal. We will take forward schemes like Delhi’s education model, free electricity and water, free bus travel for women. –
