New Delhi, May 31. The Delhi government, on completion of its 100 days, gave information about its achievements and targeted the opposition fiercely. Delhi government ministers Pankaj Singh, Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Ashish Sood, while talking to news agency IANS, praised the government’s work and rejected the criticism of the opposition.
Delhi government minister Pankaj Singh said that his government has done solid work in areas like health, education and infrastructure. He accused the opposition of making false promises and misleading the public.
Pankaj Singh said, “The people of Delhi are seeing the work we did. We did not make false promises, but showed it by doing the work. The strategy for the next 100 days is ready. We will start working faster from Monday, so that the people of Delhi do not stand in line, especially our elderly.”
He also said that the remaining work will be completed soon.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that this government is going to work, not fight or make excuses.
He claimed to have fulfilled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Developed Delhi’.
Sirsa said, “In the last 100 days, we started building roads, built new hospitals and health centres and did work related to the environment. The opposition only knows how to protest because they have no work. Our focus is on the development of Delhi.”
He accused the opposition of doing political drama.
Ashish Sood termed the opposition leaders as ‘self-proclaimed unemployed’ and said that they are protesting to save their political relevance.
Sood said, “When the Bharatiya Janata Party is counting its achievements, the opposition will have to do something to save its place. That is why they are protesting outside our programs. If they do not do this, then they will lose whatever credibility they have left.” On the completion of 100 days of the Delhi government, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Abhay Verma praised the achievements of the government and launched a scathing attack on the opposition Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Abhay Verma said that the Delhi government under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta took the problems of the people seriously and showed activeness to solve them.
Abhay Verma said, “The people of Delhi believe that Rekha Gupta’s government has worked. The Chief Minister has addressed every problem. Recently, during the most severe rain and storm in 125 years, the Chief Minister called me at 2.30 in the night and asked me to take stock of the situation in the area. This is the first time we have seen such a Chief Minister who works by coming on the streets.”
He stressed that in the last 100 days, the government and its entire team have been coming on the streets and solving the problems of the people, which is a big achievement in itself.
However, Verma also admitted that all the problems have not been solved yet, but the government is working continuously. He said, “I am not saying that all the problems are over, but work is being done, and this is the biggest achievement of 100 days.”
Taking a dig at the criticism of the opposition Aam Aadmi Party and the proposed protest by its women wing, Verma said, “The opposition has no way left now. The problems they are listing have arisen in their 10 years of rule. They think that everything will be fine in 100 days, this is their naivety. They are doing such protests to show their presence.”
Verma accused the opposition of entangled in problems for 10 years in Delhi and said that the people have understood their truth.
The BJP MLA expressed confidence that the Delhi government led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is meeting the expectations of the people and will do even better in the days to come. He appealed to the people of Delhi to support the government’s efforts.
