Tourists who reached Wagah border said- ‘Operation Sindoor is a reply to Pakistan, our army did well’

Amritsar, May 7. The retreat ceremony held daily on the India-Pakistan border has been cancelled till further orders after ‘Operation Sindoor’. A large number of curious people are still gathering at the border. Wednesday was a special day for them. Everyone unanimously praised the ‘Operation Sindoor’ of the Indian Army.

The tourists said that it is very important to teach Pakistan a lesson. It used to attack India, due to which India has attacked Pakistan and destroyed the terrorist hideouts.

A tourist said that we had come to see the retreat ceremony site. The ceremony has been stopped and we understand this decision from the security point of view. We are happy that India has carried out an air strike on Pakistan.

The female tourist said that it is very important to teach Pakistan a lesson. We appreciate this step taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Another tourist said that we have been told that there will be no retreat ceremony. Whatever instructions we have been given, they will be followed. I am happy that the step taken by the Indian Army against Pakistan is commendable.

Local resident Virendra Singh said that India has avenged the Pahalgam attack with an air strike. People are very excited about this attack and the people living in the border area are aware of the wars of 1965 and 1971. They are standing shoulder to shoulder with the Indian Army. But, Pakistan does not stop its nefarious act.

Let us tell you that the BSF did not allow any tourist to go beyond the inter-gaping check post. The retreat ceremony has been closed for tourists till further notice.

In response to the Pahalgam attack, India has destroyed nine terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’. Amidst this action, the Home Ministry has announced on Wednesday that India has closed the Kartarpur Corridor till further orders.
