New Delhi | In the last 24 hours, 33,750 new cases of corona have been reported in India, while 123 deaths have occurred during this period. These figures were shared by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday.
With 123 deaths due to corona in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 4,81,893.
There are 1,45,582 active cases of corona in the country.
Meanwhile, the nationwide number of Omicron infections has risen to 1,700, of whom 639 have been discharged from hospitals.
The ministry said that so far 23 states have registered cases of the new variant.
So on the other hand, due to the recovery of 10,846 patients in the last 24 hours, the number of people recovering has increased to 3,42,95,407.
A total of 8,78,990 corona tests were conducted across the country, taking the total number of corona tests to 68.09 crores.
India’s corona vaccination coverage reached 145.68 crores till Monday morning with 23,30,706 vaccine doses given in the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry, more than 19.84 crore corona vaccine doses are currently available with the states and union territories.
