New Delhi, August 21 . The series of messages threatening to bomb schools in the capital Delhi is not stopping. Many famous and big schools are getting these threats every day. In this sequence, 6 schools of Delhi were threatened on Thursday, which created a stir.
The schools that received the threat include some prestigious schools of Dwarka Sector-5 and Prasad Nagar. As soon as the information was received, teams of Delhi Police, bomb squad, dog squad and fire department reached the spot and a thorough search operation was carried out in the schools. This situation once again created concern among students, parents and school staff.
However, no suspicious object has been found in any school so far. At present, the police is busy finding out about the threatening messages sent to the schools.
A day before this, on Wednesday also, some schools in Delhi had received bomb threats. According to the Delhi Fire Services, they received information about bomb threats at two schools around 7:40 am and 7:42 am. The threats were sent via email. The schools that received threats included SKV School in Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Prasad Nagar.
On August 18, Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka had to be evacuated after a bomb threat call was received at around 7 am. In that case too, the authorities acted immediately and bomb squads conducted a thorough search. However, the bomb threat call turned out to be just a rumour.
After continuous threats to Delhi schools, the Aam Aadmi Party is attacking the BJP government. The Aam Aadmi Party wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ the other day, “Delhi schools have again received bomb threats. This has become a routine but the BJP government, Delhi Police and other investigative agencies are not waking up. These threats have created an atmosphere of fear among children and parents. Children are afraid to go to school. But CM Rekha Gupta ji is not bothered at all.”
