Uttarakhand: Pushkar Singh Dhami took oath as Chief Minister, Satpal and Harak again became ministers

New Delhi| Governor Baby Rani Maurya administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami in a program organized in the Raj Bhavan complex of Uttarakhand on Sunday. According to official information given by the Raj Bhavan, Governor Babyrani Maurya also administered the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers. In the program, the Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to Satpal Maharaj, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, Banshidhar Bhagat, Yashpal Arya, Bishan Singh Chufal, Subodh Uniyal, Arvind Pandey, Ganesh Joshi, Dhan Singh Rawat, Rekha Arya, and Swami Yatishwaranand.

It is worth noting that earlier there were reports of the displeasure of many MLAs including Uttarakhand minister Satpal Maharaj. However, all these people attended the swearing-in ceremony. Along with this, Satpal Maharaj and Harak Singh Rawat also took oath as ministers.

Pushkar Singh Dhami has been made the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand after former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat resigned from the post of Chief Minister. Assembly elections are to be held in Uttarakhand in the next year 2022.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has also congratulated Pushkar Dhami on being made the leader of the BJP Legislature Party in Uttarakhand and the 11th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.

Chief Secretary Om Prakash conducted this program organized in Raj Bhavan premises. Legislators, senior officials and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
