New Delhi| Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned for the second time till 2 pm on Thursday. Opposition members demanded adjournment of proceedings to discuss the Pegasus project, farmers’ protests and raids on media houses. Soon after the Rajya Sabha meeting, Congress MP Digvijay Singh wanted to raise the issue of the Pegasus project, but the Chairman rejected it. After that, the opposition MPs stood up from their seats and demanded that these issues be taken up for discussion in the House before the government.
The Opposition on Thursday served a privilege motion notice against Minister of State for Health Bharati Praveen Pawar for “misleading Parliament by giving false information”.
