New Delhi | Expressing grief over the road accident on Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and also wished speedy recovery of the injured.
Expressing grief over the incident, the official Twitter account of the Prime Minister’s Office wrote, “The road accident in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh is heart-wrenching. My deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this accident. Along with this, my deepest condolences to the injured. I wish you a speedy recovery.”
Seven people died on the spot when a car and an unidentified vehicle collided on the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district on Saturday. The accident happened at Milestone 68 in the Thana Naujheel area.
Seven people died in this horrific road accident, while two people are said to be seriously injured. Out of the 9 people in the car, seven people, including a child, died on the spot, while a boy and a person were seriously injured. The police team rescued all the occupants of the car after a lot of effort and sent both the injured to the hospital. While seven bodies have been sent for post-mortem, the relatives have been informed.
