Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, newly elected Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and two Deputy Chief Ministers, Jagdish Deora and Rajendra Shukla, were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Mangubhai Patel.
Many senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, were present in this ceremony.
The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Motilal Nehru Stadium in the capital. In a grand ceremony, Governor Patel administered the oath of office to Mohan Yadav as Chief Minister. After that, he signed the documents, which were handed over to him after the oath.
Governor Patel and Prime Minister Modi congratulated Yadav as soon as he took the oath.
While taking the oath, Chief Minister Yadav expressed gratitude towards the leaders and other people present on the stage. Jagdish Deora and Rajendra Shukla took oath for the post of two Deputy Chief Ministers. Both of these people have served as ministers in the Shivraj government and have fulfilled great responsibilities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bhopal by special plane to participate in this ceremony. After that, the helicopter reached the helipad built at Motilal Nehru Stadium.
