Salman Khan cancels ‘Bigg Boss’ shoot after hearing news of Baba Siddiqui’s death

Mumbai, Oct 13  Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has canceled the shoot of his reality show ‘Bigg Boss 18’ after news of politician Baba Siddiqui’s murder.

NCP Ajit Pawar faction leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead on Saturday night. The shootout took place outside the office of Baba’s son Zeeshan. Zeeshan’s office is near Colgate Ground in Nirmal Nagar, Bandra area.

According to reports, Salman canceled the shoot of ‘Bigg Boss’ on Saturday and rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai from the set of his show. Meanwhile, security has been beefed up outside Salman Khan’s residence after the murder. No one is allowed to stay outside the house.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt also rushed to Lilavati Hospital late Saturday night after hearing about the unfortunate incident.

Salman and Baba Siddiqui were close friends as the politician hails from the same constituency where Salman lives.

Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party was considered one of the high-profile events. Famous people from the film industry used to attend it.

In 2013, Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party ended the long-standing feud between two Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. This feud that lasted for years had divided the entire Bollywood into two camps.

At Baba Siddiqui’s party, both of them hugged each other and congratulated each other, which brought relief in the industry and promoted mutual cooperation between the two camps.

According to police department sources, two people associated with the dismissal of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui have been detained.
