The newspaper, in its report, quoted sources, claimed that the orders for the campaign against Sikh extremists in Canada were given by a senior minister of the Indian government. The entire incident raises the question that how much worse will the relations between the two countries be due to such attitude of Canada. Experts believe that only a change of power in Canada can improve the relations between the two countries because Justin Trudeau is encouraging Khalistani elements for his political benefits.
According to media reports, the American newspaper ‘Washington Post’ published a report on October 14. It quoted sources as saying that India’s Home Minister Amit Shah had ordered the campaign against Sikh separatists in Canada.
