Prime Minister Modi congratulated the countrymen on Republic Day

New Delhi, January 26 . India is celebrating Republic Day today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the countrymen on the national festival and called it a symbol of preserving the values ​​of the Constitution.

Prime Minister Modi wrote on the social media platform, “Today we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of our glorious republic. On this occasion, we salute all those great personalities who made our Constitution and ensured that our development journey is based on democracy, dignity and unity. May this national festival preserve the values ​​of our Constitution as well as strengthen our efforts towards building a strong and prosperous India, this is the wish.” On this occasion, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has written an open letter to the countrymen. In this, he has tried to explain the importance of the Constitution along with wishing Republic Day. In the post, he wrote, “On behalf of the Indian National Congress, I wish you all a very Happy Republic Day. This year, we are completing 75 years of the adoption of the Constitution of India – the conscience and soul of the Indian Republic. I am sharing my message on this.” In this letter, he has defined the strength of the Constitution by remembering the great personalities.

Let us tell you, on this occasion of Republic Day, President Draupadi Murmu will hoist the tricolor on the duty path at 10:30 am today. President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto is the chief guest this time. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi, Rajnath Singh, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi will also be present here.

This time the theme of Republic Day is ‘Golden India – Heritage and Development’. Thousands of special guests have been invited to watch the parade. These include Paralympic teams, Sarpanchs of top performing villages, wildlife conservation workers etc.
