Seoul/New Delhi, February 4. Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday that its new Galaxy S25 smartphone has sold 1.3 million units in pre-order in South Korea, which is the biggest pre-sale record of its S series models so far.
According to a report by Yonhap news agency, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series on January 22. After this, pre-order booking for this series started on January 24. According to the company, till February 3, 1.3 million units of the S25 series have been sold. Earlier, more than 1.21 million units of the old model of this series were sold.
Samsung’s most expensive S25 Ultra model has gained the most popularity, which had a 52 percent share in the total pre-orders. This was followed by Galaxy S25 with 26 percent and Galaxy S25 Plus with 22 percent share.
The new Galaxy S25 series comes with more advanced on-device artificial intelligence (AI), including multimodal capabilities and personal assistance functions. It provides users with a more smart and personalized experience. However, Samsung Electronics has kept the prices of the Galaxy S25 series the same as its older models.
The new Galaxy S25 series will be officially launched worldwide on Friday.
Samsung has started delivering its flagship Galaxy S25 series smartphones in India, these deliveries are for those customers who pre-ordered these devices.
Let us tell you that Samsung started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series on January 23. The starting price of the 12GB / 256GB variant of the Galaxy S25 is Rs 80,999, while the starting price of the Galaxy S25 + is Rs 99,999 and the starting price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is Rs 129,999.
Customers pre-ordering the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also get pre-order benefits worth Rs 21,000.
Apart from this, customers pre-ordering the Galaxy S25+ will get benefits worth Rs 12,000. Meanwhile, customers pre-ordering the Galaxy S25 will get benefits worth Rs 11,000 as an upgrade bonus.
