New Delhi, February 8. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena gave an important order amid the results of the Delhi Assembly elections. He has said that no government file, document, computer hardware, or other sensitive material should be taken out of the Secretariat premises.
The purpose of this order of the Lieutenant Governor is to ensure the security of government documents and data. This step has been taken to protect any file, document, or computer hardware in the Secretariat premises without the permission of the General Administration Department. It is clear in the LG’s order that no document, file, or computer hardware can be taken out of the Secretariat.
Earlier, an order was also issued in this regard by the General Administration Department. GAD has asked top officials to immediately reach the Delhi Secretariat and ensure the safety of government documents and data.
The order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) said that no document, computer hardware, or other government material should be taken out of the Delhi Secretariat premises without permission. This instruction has been issued to the officials of all the concerned branches and departments so that the security of records, files, documents, and electronic files under the secretariat can be ensured in a safe manner.
This order will be applicable to the Delhi Secretariat as well as the secretariat offices and camp offices of the ministers. The officers in charge of these offices have also been instructed to ensure compliance with this order. This order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority so that there is no lack in the security of government records and data during the election process.
Let us tell you that in the trends of the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP has crossed the majority mark. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia faced defeat. Arvind Kejriwal lost the election from New Delhi assembly seat by 3,186 votes. BJP candidate Pravesh Singh Verma won from here.
