New Delhi, February 24. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MLA Vijender Gupta on Monday targeted the former Aam Aadmi Party government. Talking to IANS, he said that in the last five years, no report has been presented on the floor of the assembly regarding any subject. This is a matter of sadness. But, it is our responsibility to ensure that the Constitution is not violated in future.
Referring to the conversation with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, he said that we discussed many issues with her. Which mainly includes the three-day special session of the Assembly. There will be an address by the Lieutenant Governor in the Assembly. After this, it will be discussed. On the 27th, the members of the Assembly will also get a chance to speak, looking at which I feel that this House will be new, which will be operated with law and order. Any kind of tampering with its dignity will not be tolerated.
The BJP leader also took a dig at the opposition parties. He said that I can understand the mental state of the opposition. All their big leaders have lost. There is a vacuum in the opposition today. They are trying to come out of that shock, that mental pain, so in such a situation their mental state can be understood.
At the same time, he welcomed the statement of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, in which he appealed to all people to speak in their mother tongue.
Vijendra Gupta said in this context that we should be proud of our language. Our mother tongue is not just a language, but the voice of our soul, which gives us a chance to think and understand freely. We should use this opportunity positively.
He emphasized that the more our mother tongue is promoted, the stronger our country will be. We should work towards promoting all mother tongues.
