Pahalgam attack: US intelligence chief said, ‘We stand with PM Modi and India’

New Delhi, April 25 . The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is being condemned all over the world. US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard on Friday reiterated standing in solidarity with India against terrorism.

Tulsi Gabbard wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “We stand in solidarity with India in the wake of the horrific Islamic terrorist attack targeting 26 Hindus in Pahalgam. My prayers and deepest condolences are with those who lost their loved ones.”

Reiterating standing in solidarity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi against terrorism, she wrote, “We stand with PM Modi and all the people of India. We are with you and support you in catching those responsible for this heinous attack.”

It is noteworthy that on April 22, terrorists opened fire on unarmed tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people died in this attack and many were injured. After this attack, anger is being seen across the country. People are demanding strict action from the central government.

The victims of the attack told that the terrorists asked them about their religion before killing them. The government has said that the neighboring country Pakistan is behind the attack. After the Pahalgam incident, in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, the central government took many tough and big decisions, among which cancelling the Indus Water Treaty, calling back its diplomats from Pakistan and reducing the number of employees in the Pakistani Embassy in India from 55 to 30 are important.

After this cowardly terrorist attack, reactions are coming from the country as well as from abroad. Important countries like America, Russia and Israel are supporting India.
