New Delhi, April 27 The Indian Navy is ready to fight anytime, anywhere and in any way to protect the maritime interests of the nation. Demonstrating this readiness, the Navy has successfully done anti-ship firing. This test was done from Indian Navy ships. This anti-ship firing of the Navy has re-validated the readiness of the platform, system and crew for long-range precision offensive attack.
On Sunday, the Navy said that they have done several successful anti-ship firings to demonstrate the readiness of the crew. The Indian Navy is ready for war anytime, anywhere, in any way to protect the maritime interests of the nation.
It is worth noting that on April 22, terrorists opened fire on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people have died in this terrorist attack. The dead also include two military officers, including a naval officer. Like other tourists, these military officers had also gone to Jammu and Kashmir to spend holidays with their families. On Tuesday, terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam and shot at them after asking the names of the tourists.
Within 48 hours of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India gave a strong message to its enemies by conducting an important missile test on Thursday. This missile test was conducted by the Indian Navy on its destroyer INS Surat in the Arabian Sea. The Navy fired a medium-range surface-to-air missile. According to the Navy, during this time India’s indigenous missile destroyer INS Surat successfully hit the target in the sea. This destroyer of the Navy is equipped with the capability to destroy the enemy’s missile in the air itself.
Pakistan is badly agitated by the various steps taken by India against terrorism. This is the reason why the Pakistani army is repeatedly violating the ceasefire and firing from its posts. On the night of 26-27 April also, Pakistani army posts fired unprovoked small arms across the Line of Control in the areas opposite Tutmari Gali and Rampur sector. Indian soldiers have also responded effectively to the firing.
The Indian Army is fully alert and prepared to respond to any nefarious act of Pakistan. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi has held several important meetings in Jammu and Kashmir.
