NEW DELHI | A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg after an argument in the Jama Masjid area of central Delhi on Thursday. During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that there was a quarrel between the victim and some persons near Chitli Kabra Chowk. The victim was admitted to RML Hospital.
The incident occurred while the victim was on her way home. Saddu, a resident of Haveli Azam Khan (Jama Masjid area), along with two of his colleagues, obstructed the path of the victim and then fired into the air and shot him twice in the leg.
The DCP (Central) said, “Four empty cartridges have been recovered. Three are of the same type and one is of another type. The victim is fit. A case has been registered in this regard.”
