Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal accused the BJP government of Delhi of removing the photo of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and said that this step is not right. The BJP government in Delhi removed Baba Saheb’s photo and put the photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has hurt crores of followers of Baba Saheb.
Kejriwal appealed to the BJP and said that you can put the photo of Prime Minister Modi, but must keep the photo of Baba Saheb. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Atishi also reacted on this matter.
Atishi said that the anti-Dalit mentality of the Bharatiya Janata Party has once again come to the fore. She has alleged that the BJP has removed the pictures of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh from the CM office.
Atishi also said that this action of the BJP shows its hatred towards Dalits and Sikhs. Under the Delhi government, the CM office and Delhi assembly had pictures of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh till three months ago. Showing a photo, she said that when she was the Chief Minister, these pictures were in the CM office, but now the BJP has removed them.
Attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party, she said that this is a clear proof of their anti-Dalit and anti-Sikh mentality. By removing the pictures of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh, the BJP has insulted them, which is highly condemnable. On this entire issue, the Aam Aadmi Party has criticized the BJP government and has decided to protest against it from the streets to the House.
