After the uproar by the opposition, the government is ready to discuss ‘Operation Sindoor’, there will be a debate of 9 hours in Rajya Sabha and 16 hours in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, July 21  The monsoon session of Parliament has started from Monday. On the very first day, there was uproar in both the houses of Parliament, due to which the proceedings of the house had to be postponed repeatedly. Meanwhile, the government has agreed to discuss ‘Operation Sindoor’ in Parliament. There will be a debate on this issue for 16 hours in Lok Sabha and 9 hours in Rajya Sabha.

According to the information, in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee, time has been fixed for discussion on various bills and important issues in the Lok Sabha during the monsoon session of Parliament. There has been a consensus for a discussion of 16 hours in Lok Sabha and 9 hours in Rajya Sabha on ‘Operation Sindoor’. Apart from this, a discussion of 3 hours has been fixed in the Lok Sabha on the ‘Indian Postal Bill’.

Also, there will be a detailed discussion of 12 hours in the Lok Sabha on the ‘Income Tax Amendment Bill’. Apart from this, 8 hours of discussion has been scheduled on the ‘National Sports Bill’ and 2 hours of discussion will be held on ‘Manipur Budget’.

Along with this, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has demanded a discussion on the 50th anniversary of the Emergency of 1975. At the same time, BJP MP Anurag Thakur has urged for a discussion on the situation of rain and floods in Himachal Pradesh.

Let us tell you that on the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament, opposition MPs raised slogans demanding a discussion in the House on ‘Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Pahalgam terror attack’, due to which the Lok Sabha Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House first till 12 o’clock and then till 2 o’clock.

Rahul Gandhi had accused the central government for disrupting the proceedings of the Lok Sabha. He said that I am the leader of the opposition, but I am not being allowed to speak in the House.

It is worth mentioning that this time the monsoon session will run from July 21 to August 21. This session will run for 32 days. During this time 21 meetings will be held.

Both the Houses of Parliament will be adjourned from August 12 to August 17 for the Independence Day celebrations. The session will then resume on August 18.
