Air pollution is not decreasing in Delhi, average AQI recorded at 347

New Delhi, November 11 . The condition of air pollution in the national capital Delhi continues to remain bad. On Monday, the average air quality index (AQI) here was recorded at 347.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the average air quality index in the capital Delhi has been recorded at 347 till 7:30 am on Monday. While the AQI in Faridabad, a city of Delhi NCR, remains 165, 302 in Gurugram, 242 in Ghaziabad, 271 in Greater Noida and 237 in Noida.

At the same time, the highest AQI of 409 was recorded in Jahangirpuri, Delhi.

The AQI level remained between 300 to 400 in most areas of the capital Delhi, in which 378 was recorded in Anand Vihar, 397 in Alipur, 389 in Ashok Vihar, 400 in Bawana, 352 in Burari Crossing, 316 in Mathura Road, 356 in Dwarka Sector 8, 344 in Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, 311 in DTU and 336 AQI was recorded in IGI Airport. Apart from this, AQI was recorded at 338 in ITO, 216 in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, 308 in Lodhi Road, 369 in Major Dhyanchand Stadium, 389 in Mundka, 344 in Mandir Marg, 352 in Narela, 368 in Nehru Nagar, 363 in North Campus DU, 356 in Najafgarh, 366 in Patparganj, 339 in Okhla Phase 2, 369 in NSIT Dwarka, 368 in RK Puram, 384 in Rohini, 383 in Shadipur, 337 in Siri Fort, 372 in Vivek Vihar and 391 in Wazirpur.

AQI of 325 was measured around Geeta Colony of East District. Here, water is being sprayed on the roads, so that the dust flying on the roads settles there and does not spread in the air. Due to the spread of dust particles in the air, people, especially children and the elderly, face difficulty in breathing.
