Mumbai, August 16 . Megastar Amitabh Bachchan congratulated Abhishek Bachchan on receiving the Best Actor award for ‘I Want to Talk’ at the Melbourne Film Festival and expressed his feelings on this special occasion through his blog.
Amitabh posted a photo on his blog in which Abhishek is smiling while holding the trophy in his hands. Along with this, a magazine cover was also posted, which had the tagline – ‘The Bachchan Blueprint’.
Amitabh started the blog by writing, “I am the luckiest father in this whole world. Abhishek has carried forward his grandfather’s legacy with hard work, honesty and a never-say-die attitude.
He wrote, “Abhishek never gave up in the face of circumstances. No matter how much people tried to bring him down, he stood up every time with hard work and rose higher than before.”
Big B wrote a few lines of a poem, “The more you bring me down, I will stand up again with my hard work and stand taller. It took time but you did not give up. You showed the world your strength.”
On this occasion, Amitabh remembered one of his father’s poems and wrote, “I have learned the way of living from the ocean, to flow quietly and to be at your own pleasure.”
He said that Abhishek also followed the same path, without any show-off, just made his identity with his work.”
In the blog, Amitabh further said that a few years ago when he praised Abhishek’s acting in a film, some people started laughing… they said that a father does not give up on his son’s acting He is praising me more than necessary.
He wrote, “People made fun of me, but today the same people are applauding me. Now the time has given its answer. The world has recognized Abhishek’s hard work and art. Those who used to laugh earlier, are now respecting him.”
At the end of the blog post, Amitabh wrote, “Victory is the biggest answer. And you have won that. Keeping quiet and enjoying yourself, this is the real secret.”
He said that this award is a great happiness not only for Abhishek but for the whole family.
