Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government won the trust vote in the Bihar Assembly. The opposition walked out of the House during voting. During this period, 129 votes were cast in favor of the government. 122 votes were required for a majority in the 243-member assembly.
In fact, on January 28, Nitish Kumar separated from the Grand Alliance and formed the government with the NDA. After this, the trust vote had to be taken in the House on February 12.
However, before this, RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav heated up the politics of Bihar by saying ‘Khela Hoga’. After this, all the parties started barricading to unite their MLAs.
While Congress had already sent its MLAs to Hyderabad, RJD kept its MLAs at Tejashwi’s residence for two days. BJP also took its MLAs to Bodh Gaya in the name of the workshop.
