Riyadh | The government of Saudi Arabia has limited the upcoming Hajj season to a maximum of 60,000 persons in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. This time only domestic pilgrims will be able to participate in it. In its announcement on Saturday, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that in view of the outbreak of the global pandemic and the new mutation of the virus, the availability of registration for those wishing to undertake the annual pilgrimage this year has been restricted only to those who wish to undertake the annual pilgrimage, Xinhua news agency reported. It has been decided to limit for citizens and residents.

This year, only those who have received vaccine doses, people who have recovered from corona and people in the age group of 18-65 years without any chronic disease will be allowed to register for Haj pilgrimage.

Keeping in mind the pandemic, the upcoming Haj will be the second season in which foreign pilgrims will not be allowed.

The ministry stressed that the decision has been taken regarding the safety and health of the pilgrims, which is supported by other Islamic states.

Tulsi Vivah 2020: The festival of Tulsi Vivah 2020 Shaligram will be celebrated with pomp across the country on 25 November. This festival Tulsi Puja or Tulsi Vivah is celebrated every year on the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha in Kartik month. Dev Uthani Ekadashi 2020 is also celebrated on the day of the Tulsi wedding. This day has special significance in Hinduism.

On this auspicious day, Tulsi Maa is married to Bhagwan Shaligram. Shaligram is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Lakshmi to Lord Vishnu and Tulsi ji. On this day both of them are married with full custom. But some things must be kept in mind on the day of Tulsi Puja.

Light a lamp in the evening

Tulsi Puja 2020: Tulsi plant should be burnt daily and lamps should be lit at dusk. Remember to keep water and lamps on the basil plant on the day of Tulsi’s wedding. By offering water and placing a lamp on Tulsi, the grace of Maa Lakshmi always rests on you. Also, do not offer water on Tulsi plant on Sunday.

Avoid meat and alcohol

Tulsi Puja 2020: During Tulsi Puja, do not forget to consume meat, liquor and intoxicants. Also, never consume these things near the basil plant. At the same time, people who wear Tulsi Mala should always keep a distance from these things.

Take special care of the direction

Never plant a basil plant in the south direction of the house. Tulsi plant should always be planted in North-East or North Direction. This gives it auspicious results.

Apply basil in a pot

Always plant a basil plant in a pot. According to the belief, a basil plant planted in the ground is considered inauspicious. It has a negative effect on the home.

Jivitputrika Vrat 2020: On 10 September, Suhagin women pray for the long life of their children by keeping Jitiya fast like this year every year. Jitiya Vrat is also known as Jeevaputrika Vrat. Jitiya fast is celebrated with great enthusiasm mainly in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. The Jitiya fast is mainly done to wish the child happiness and prosperity.

Jitiya fast lasts for three days. On the first day of the fast, take a bath, on the second day a nirjala fast is observed and on the third day, it is celebrated. According to the Hindu calendar, Jitiya fast is kept from Ashtami Tithi to Navami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month. Ashtami Tithi will begin on 09 September at 1:30 pm. This date will be on Thursday, September 10, at 4:30 in the afternoon.

A day before the Jitiya fast, women wake up early in the morning and bathe and then worship. After this, Jitiya will accept food only after fasting. Women who fast during Jitiya fast observe Nirjala fast throughout the day. On Paran day, something is eaten only after offering Arghya to the Sun. On the day of Jitiya fast, Jhor Bhat, Bharuva bread, and Noni greens are eaten.

Fast story
The story of this fast is related to the Mahabharata period. According to religious stories, Ashwatthama entered the Pandavas’ camp with a feeling of revenge for his father’s death in the Mahabharata war. Five people were sleeping inside the camp. Ashwatthama killed them as Pandavas, but they were the five children of Draupadi. Arjun then took Ashwatthama captive and took her divine gem.

Ashwatthama again seeks revenge to kill the children born in the womb of Abhimanyu’s wife Uttara and he destroys Uttara’s womb with Brahmastra. Then Lord Krishna revived the unborn child of Uttara. Being alive after dying in the womb, the child was named Jeevaputrika. Then from that time on, Jitiya’s fast began to be kept for the long life of the child

Some Muslims usually pay the amount of an animal to one of a number of Muslim charities around the globe that collect funds for remote animal sacrifices, distributing the meat to underprivileged groups – including orphans, the elderly and specially able people who are not dependent on themselves rather than God.
