CBSE Board: Ishmit and Aastha, students of Delhi NCR, secured 99.4 percent marks

New Delhi| The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the 12th board exam result. Talking about the average pass percentage of the entire country, CBSE said that this year a total of 87.33 percent of students have passed in class 12th. CBSE has not released the list of toppers this year but Ishmit Kaur, a Class 12 student studying in a Noida school, has scored 99.4 percent marks. Ishmit Kaur has also secured 100 out of 100 marks in a subject like History. Apart from History, he also scored 100 out of 100 in Political Science and Geography. Ishmit has secured 98 marks in Psychology and 99 marks in English.

Aastha Mishra, a student of a school in Indirapuram, adjacent to Delhi, has also done the same feat in the 12th board examination. Aastha has also performed exceptionally well, scoring 99.4 percent in the board exams.

On the other hand, another student Aarushi Seth managed to score 99.2 percent marks. Swati, a class 12 student, has secured 99 percent marks. Ishmit Kaur, who secured 99.4 percent marks, told that she is a student of Humanity.

According to Ishmit, she is a student studying in the last minute of the exam. However, they are not to give any such advice to other students. Ishmit said that but I will not advise other students to give more time to their studies at the last minute like me.

Parikul Bhardwaj, a student from Delhi, has also performed brilliantly in the 12th board exams. Science students have secured around 470 marks in total. Parikul’s father is a doctor by profession. He told that his daughter is also interested in pursuing medical studies in the future.

Significantly, this time also the performance of girls in the 12th board examinations has been better than that of boys. The pass percentage of girls is more than that of boys by 6 percent. At the same time, the Trivandrum region is on top in terms of 12th-board results across the country. More than 16 lakh students across the country had registered themselves for the CBSE 12th Board.

It is worth mentioning that this year, the total number of students registered from all the states across the country to appear in the CBSE Class 12th board exams was 16,96,770. Of these, 7,45,433 were boys and 9,51,332 were girls.

In CBSE, students from all over the country are divided into 16 different regions. Among these, where Trivandrum is on top with 99.91 percent, Bengaluru is at number two with 98.64 percent, Chennai at number three with 97.40 percent and Delhi West at number four with 93.24 percent.
