New Delhi, October 10 Political rhetoric has intensified over the CJP protests in Delhi and the arrest of Abhijeet Dipke. In Nadia, West Bengal, BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar accused the protesters of trying to harm the country. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, Congress leader Bhai Jagtap and MLA Aslam Shaikh criticized the central government, raising questions about the constitutional right to protest and the democratic system.

BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar said that India is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, and people have understood this. The opposition’s vote share is steadily declining in the elections, leading to the raising of issues like vote theft. He alleged that along with Rahul Gandhi, communists, Pakistan supporters, and those associated with the “tukde-tukde gang” have joined forces to harm the country. Their intentions have been exposed, and they can do whatever they want.

In Mumbai, Congress leader and Legislative Council member Bhai Jagtap criticized the arrest of Abhijeet Dipke. He described it as the next step in the country’s growing crackdown, saying the public will not tolerate such attacks on democracy. Jagtap questioned whether Abhijeet Dipke was a criminal or Dawood Ibrahim, who was taken into custody from a plane in this manner. He said that Dipke is a young citizen of the country and is raising his voice for his rights. The youth of the country are standing with him and opposing the government’s policies.

Congress MLA Aslam Shaikh said that people have the right to protest under the Constitution. He questioned why people are being assaulted and hotels are being closed when they are exercising their rights. Shaikh alleged that an emergency-like situation is being created across the country. Police and the army are being deployed against children and youth. Police even go out to intimidate young people in residential societies.

Referring to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Aslam Shaikh alleged that the government enacted a law to protect him from legal action. He questioned why such a move was taken and whether it was intended to shield him from accountability. Shaikh said that India is a democratic country and anyone found guilty of wrongdoing should be prosecuted according to the law.
