After testing the water on September 10, E. coli bacteria was found in the water of Supertech Eco Village 2 Society, which is very fatal for the stomach and causes a lot of problems to the person. The health department had also sent its report to the Greater Noida Authority and the Uttar Pradesh government regarding this bacteria. According to the CMO of Gautam Buddha Nagar, there is definitely treatment and prevention of the damage caused by this bacteria, but still there is a need to be alert.

It is worth noting that in the past, thousands of people fell ill due to contaminated water in Supertech Eco Village 2 Society of Greater Noida West. Out of which 20 were being treated in two different private hospitals. In which the number of children was high. The health camp of the health department and private hospitals inside the society treated people for three consecutive days. At that time it was alleged that the water tanks in the society were cleaned. People living in four towers fell sick after drinking the water that was being supplied after cleaning. People suspected that the dirt left inside the tank during cleaning or the amount of chemicals used to clean it was high and hence people were falling sick after drinking contaminated water.
