SRINAGAR| A private security guard of a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader who was injured by terrorists on the outskirts of Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir died on Monday while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Police sources said that constable Manzoor Ahmed was posted as a security guard of PDP leader Haji Parvez Ahmed. He was shot dead by militants on the outskirts of Natipora on Monday morning.
Police said the injured constable was rushed to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed.
Police said the area has been sealed and a search operation has been launched to locate the attackers.
