Delhi CM issues order on functioning of mohalla clinics from ED custody

New Delhi, . Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had issued his first order from ED custody on Sunday. Amidst the ongoing controversy regarding this, CM Kejriwal issued another new order. CM has issued a new order to the Health Department for the smooth functioning of the major mohalla clinics of the Aam Aadmi Party.

AAP sources confirmed that the directive pertains to the health department and has been sent by the Chief Minister to Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj. Saurabh Bhardwaj handles the health department.

Addressing the press conference on the instructions of CM Kejriwal, Health Minister Bhardwaj said, “The CM is concerned about the availability of medicines and free testing in many hospitals and mohalla clinics.”

Bhardwaj said that CM Kejriwal wants that no one should face trouble, even if he is in ED custody.

“He ordered me to take immediate and necessary action to ensure that both medicines and tests are free and available in hospitals and mohalla clinics,” Bhardwaj said.

Earlier on Sunday, CM Kejriwal had issued the first order while in ED custody. In this order, the CM had directed Water Minister Atishi to solve the problems of water and sewage in Delhi.

Meanwhile, on the issue of authenticity looming over the instructions issued by CM Kejriwal from ED custody, legal experts said, “The court has not given any permission to the CM to issue the order.”

Supreme Court lawyer Vineet Jindal said, “Aam Aadmi Party is issuing this order in the name of Arvind Kejriwal. Due to ED’s remand, the court has not allowed the CM to issue any order.

He said, “These orders are being issued not for any work but for political gains, which is legally wrong.”

He alleged, “Arvind Kejriwal is exaggerating his problems so that when action is taken, he can blame BJP.”

CM Kejriwal was arrested by ED on March 21, the court has sent him to ED custody till March 28. He is accused of being directly involved in a conspiracy related to liquor policy.
