Delhi Elections 2025: BJP releases fourth list, fields Shikha Rai against Saurabh Bhardwaj from Greater Kailash

New Delhi, January 16. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released its fourth list for the Delhi Assembly elections. The BJP announced the names of its 9 candidates in this list.

The BJP has fielded Shikha Rai against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Saurabh Bhardwaj from Greater Kailash. At the same time, the BJP has given ticket to Anil Vashisht against Gopal Rai from Babarpur. The party has given tickets to Ravindra Kumar (Indraraj) from Bawana (SC) and Poonam Sharma from Wazirpur.

Apart from this, the BJP has fielded Bhuvan Tanwar from Delhi Cantt and Chandan Kumar Chaudhary from Sangam Vihar. The BJP has fielded Ravikant Ujjain from Trilokpuri (SC), Sanjay Goyal from Shahdara, Anil Vashisht from Babarpur and Praveen Nimesh from Golakpur.

With this, BJP has declared its candidates on 68 seats so far. At the same time, JDU, which is part of NDA, has also given ticket to Shelender Kumar from Burari seat of Delhi.

Earlier, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had released the list of its star campaigners for the Delhi Assembly elections. It includes the names of 40 people including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The Chief Minister and Deputy CM of BJP-ruled states have also been given place in the list of star campaigners.

If we talk about the Delhi Assembly elections, voting is to be held in one phase on all 70 seats on February 5, while the results of the election will be announced on February 8. According to the Election Commission, a total of 1.55 crore voters including 83,49,645 men, 71,73,952 women and 1,261 third gender will exercise their franchise in the capital Delhi.

If we talk about the 2020 assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 62 out of 70 seats. Whereas, the BJP won eight seats. Congress did not even open its account in this election.
