New Delhi, . The court on Tuesday booked Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K. in a money laundering case related to Delhi’s alleged liquor policy scam. Kavita was sent to judicial custody until April 9.

After ED custody ended, Kavita was produced before Judge Kaveri Baweja in Rouse Avenue Court.

On the other hand, Kavita’s lawyer, Nitish Rana, sought interim bail on the basis of her son’s examination.

The ED had arrested Kavitha, daughter of BRS president and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, after searches at her residence in Hyderabad on March 15.

ED special counsel Zohaib Hussain had last argued that Kavita conspired with others and was actively involved in the bribery of Rs 100 crore.
