Delhi: Nearly one lakh active corona patients despite lockdown

New Delhi| Corona infection continues to spread rapidly despite the enforced lockdown in Delhi. The number of active corona patients in the national capital has reached close to one lakh. At the same time, the total number of people who died from corona has exceeded 15 thousand. During the last 24 hours, more than 25 thousand new corona patients have appeared in Delhi. This is the second week of lockdown in Delhi, but the rate of corona infection still remains at more than 31 percent. A total of 81,829 persons were corona examined in Delhi during the last 24 hours. Of these, 25986 persons were found to be corona infected. After this, the number of active corona patients in Delhi has now increased to 99752.

At the same time, 368 people have died in Delhi from Corona during the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 15,377 deaths have been reported from Corona in Delhi. During the last 24 hours in Delhi, 20,458 corona patients have also recovered.

Corona has a positivity rate of 31.76 percent in Delhi. There are 99,752 active corona patients in Delhi. Of these, 53,819 corona patients are living in home isolation. While the remaining patients have been admitted to various hospitals and corona centers in Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says that the Corona wave is more dangerous than before. ICU beds are in high demand. ICU beds are full. In view of this, the Delhi Government has started preparations for making temporary beds of temporary ICU.

CM Arvind Kejriwal held a high-level meeting with senior officials. A plan to increase maximum oxygen beds in Delhi was discussed in the meeting. Kejriwal officials gave strict instructions to increase the extra oxygen beds in the coming days. At the same time, the Chief Minister also directed to further strengthen the home isolation system.

The CM has appealed to the residents of Delhi to strictly follow all the Corona guidelines. He said that the Delhi government is making all efforts to save the precious lives of the people of Delhi. Officers have been instructed to ensure that all the patients recovering from home isolation are given oximeters by Delhi government doctors and make regular calls.
