New Delhi | During the last 24 hours, 341 people have died from Corona amid the ongoing lockdown in Delhi. In Delhi, more than 79 thousand corona tests were done in 1 day to check for corona patients. Of these, more than 19 thousand people were found to be corona positive. During this period, more than 19 thousand patients have also recovered from beating the coronavirus.
According to an official report released by the Health Department of the Delhi government, 19,832 people have been found corona positive in Delhi during the last 24 hours. Corona’s positivity rate currently stands at 24.92 percent in Delhi. The corona positivity rate was between 32 and 35 percent until 1 week ago. Now some decline is being recorded in it. However, a large number of people are still dying of corona in Delhi. So far 18,739 people have died due to Coronavirus in Delhi.
During the last 24 hours, 19832 people were found to be corona positive. At the same time, in 19085 Corona patients became healthy. There are currently 91,035 active corona patients in Delhi. Of these, 50,425 active corona patients are living in home isolation. The remaining corona patients have been admitted to hospitals and corona care centers.
The Delhi government has decided to provide oxygen to the Corona patients at their homes. An attempt will now be made to provide oxygen to the corona patients with home isolation as per their need.
The Delhi government has issued a special order. According to this order, corona patients living in home isolation can apply on the website of the Delhi government if they need oxygen. For this, they will have to provide Aadhaar card information and Corona positive report.
These applications sent online will be investigated by the DM of the area. Also, the DM will identify those depots and dealers who can deliver oxygen to the patients.
