New Delhi| A temporary, but modern ICU with 500 beds will be built at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. This special ICU being prepared by Delhi Government will be for corona patients. This ICU will be ready in the month of May. On Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited two major government hospitals of Delhi, Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital and LNJP Hospital. After visiting the LNJP Hospital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “We are preparing a 500-bed ICU at Ramlila Maidan, right in front of the LNJP Hospital. This ICU is being built for corona patients. This ICU at Ramlila Maidan will soon be built Will be ready. ” During this time Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain was also present with the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also visited GTB Hospital in East Delhi on Tuesday morning. The Chief Minister informed that a 500-bed ICU is also being prepared here. This temporary construction work is expected to be completed by 5 May. The Chief Minister said that I salute all those who are involved in this work.

In view of the increasing outbreak of Corona infection in Delhi, the Delhi government has decided to build a 1000-corona temporary corona hospital at Burari Maidan too. Oxygen will also be provided to patients at this temporary corona hospital.

Significantly, Corona’s positivity rate in Delhi has increased to more than 35 percent. With this, during the last 24 hours, a record 380 people have died from Corona in Delhi. During the last 24 hours, about 57 thousand corona tests were done in Delhi. More than one lakh corona tests were being done daily in Delhi. Now, despite having done half the test, more than 35 percent of the people have been found to have corona positivity.

In Delhi, 1435 people have died of corona in the last 4 days. About three and a half hundred people were dying daily due to corona in Delhi for the last 3 days. The number of deaths from Corona has increased during the last 24 hours and has increased to 380 on Monday. On Sunday, 350 people died of corona in Delhi. At the same time, 357 people died of corona on Saturday and 348 on Friday.
