The grand “Ramleela” being organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium by the “Shri Ram Dharmik Ramleela Committee” was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi – Hon’ble Minister of Culture & Foreign Affairs, Government of India; Syed Shahnavaz Hussain – Member of the Bihar Legislative Council & former Union Minister; Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi – Member of the Rajya Sabha, and other important dignitaries praised the event.
All the guests enjoyed the portrayal of the epic on stage and commended the grandeur of this Ramleela program. They mentioned that this program has provided an opportunity for people of all backgrounds, regardless of caste, religion, or age, to come together and is captivating the audience.
All the dignitaries appreciated the enactment and praised Shri Satish Upadhyay, Chairman of the Shri Ram Dharmik Ramleela Committee, and the entire team for organizing the grand Ramleela event.
Shri Upadhyay mentioned that the spectacular Ramleela is open to all and completely free to attend. He shared that this 10-day Ramleela program includes episodes such as Narad Mohn, Ram’s birth, Sita’s Swayamvar, Ram’s exile, Bharat’s reunion, Sita’s abduction, Lanka’s destruction, Vibhishan’s surrender, building the bridge across the sea, Lakshman’s fainting, Kumbhakarna and Meghanath’s defeat, Sati Sulochana, and Ravan’s demise/Dussehra. Every day, the artists presented magnificent performances.
He also mentioned that in addition to the Ramleela stage, various social service programs are being carried out, which is a commendable initiative in itself.
