Gurugram | A 36-year-old female patient was allegedly raped by a doctor at a hotel in the Sector-40 area. This information was provided by the police A senior police officer said, “The woman has lodged a complaint that when she had gone for treatment, the doctor gave her intoxicating liquor and raped her. A case has been registered under appropriate sections of the IPC.” The accused will be arrested soon.”
The woman has said in her complaint that she was unwell for a few days. She called a friend of hers, who told her that she is friends with a doctor and is currently sitting with him in a hotel in Sector 40.
It is alleged that the friend called the victim to get her examined by a doctor and get her treated.
The victim told the police that when she reached the hotel, she found her friend drinking alcohol with a person named Dr. Rakesh.
It is alleged that during the conversation, he gave her a cold drink, in which some intoxicant was mixed. When the victim’s health started deteriorating, her friend went out of the room, after which the doctor locked the room from inside and raped her.
On regaining consciousness, the female patient came to know that she had been raped. The victim lodged a complaint against the doctor at the Sector-40 police station.
