Tokyo| Earthquake tremors were felt in the Miyagi province of Japan. Its intensity measured 5.8 on the Richter scale. The officials gave this information on Sunday. According to the news agency Xinhua, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said that the earthquake occurred at 9.29 am, with its epicenter at 38.3 degrees north and longitude 141.9 degrees east in latitude and 50 km deep.
Earthquake levels in parts of Miyagi Prefecture were 4 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale. Whereas its maximum level is 7.
No tsunami warning has been issued in connection with the earthquake yet.
