Family happy on Pravesh Verma’s victory, brother said – this is the end of Kejriwal’s political journey

New Delhi, February 8. BJP candidate Pravesh Verma has won from New Delhi assembly seat amid the counting of votes for Delhi assembly elections. He has defeated Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor and former CM Arvind Kejriwal.

After winning from New Delhi assembly seat, Pravesh Verma had a special conversation with IANS. He said, “The people of Delhi have expressed faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This victory belongs to PM Modi and the people of Delhi.”

Pravesh Verma’s wife Swati Pravesh Verma said in a conversation with IANS, “I am very happy and thank you to all the workers who believed in us. Today we have done what the party had set us up for. Today we have won and we are happy about this.”

On her husband’s victory, she said, “The failure of the Kejriwal government for 11 years and the faith of the people of Delhi that the double engine government will develop this place. This has been the basis of our victory.”

Pravesh Verma’s family expressed happiness over his victory. Pravesh Verma’s brother Siddharth Verma said, “Arvind Kejriwal had made very big promises to the people of Delhi, but his promises were not fulfilled. He just held dharnas and demonstrations while sitting on the Delhi CM’s chair and said wrong things about the central government-LG. He (Kejriwal) was the Chief Minister of Delhi thrice, but now the public wanted to answer him, so the journey to the end of Kejriwal’s politics has started from New Delhi today.”

Pravesh Verma’s sister Rachna Sindhu expressed happiness over her brother’s victory. Talking to IANS, she said, “We are very happy with our brother’s victory. I think Kejriwal did not clean the Yamuna river and he was fooling people again and again. So he has failed to complete his work.”

Sister Manisha Chaudhary said, “I express my gratitude to the people of Delhi. My brother never contested the election thinking that he has to become the Chief Minister, rather his only aim was to oust Kejriwal from Delhi. Kejriwal had spread the politics of lies and hatred in Delhi for the last 11 years. We have full faith in BJP, whichever party gives responsibility to my brother, it will be fulfilled.”

According to the Election Commission, BJP has won three seats so far. Apart from this, the party is leading on 45 seats, while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a big loss. AAP has won two and is leading on 20 seats.
