Three AAP stalwarts were accused of corruption, police took them away, all three lost

New Delhi, February 8  The results of Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 are a big blow to the Aam Aadmi Party. The party has suffered a crushing defeat in its attempt to score a hat-trick. At the same time, BJP is moving towards a big victory. There were 13 hot seats in Delhi on which everyone’s eyes were fixed. AAP has fallen flat on its face on most of these. The public also rejected those three stalwarts who were considered the big faces of AAP. Satyendra Jain, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia are the names who were accused of corruption, went to jail and also lost the elections.

Out of the 70 assembly seats in Delhi, everyone’s eyes were on Shakur Basti, Jangpura and New Delhi. Three big names of the AAP cabinet contested from here, but the results did not come in their favor. Satyendra Jain got 35,871 votes from Shakur Basti, he was defeated by 20,998 votes. He was defeated by BJP’s Karnail Singh. He got 56,869 votes.

Manish Sisodia also could not save his seat. He was given ticket from Jangpura instead of Patparganj, but he could not save that too. Delhi’s former Deputy CM got 38,184 votes and BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah got 38,859 votes. He lagged behind by 675 votes. Sisodia was accused of being involved in the alleged liquor scam policy.

At the same time, the biggest blow to the party has come from the defeat of former CM Arvind Kejriwal. He has faced a crushing defeat. BJP’s Parvesh Verma defeated him by more than 4,000 votes.

All three had gone to jail and all three were rejected by the public. Atishi, who was the CM for about three months, came out lagging behind and won the election. She defeated Ramesh Bidhuri by about 3,000 votes.
