Government is responsible for stampede in Delhi, Railway Minister should resign: Ajay Rai

Etawah, February 16 Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai has held the government responsible for the stampede that took place at Delhi Railway Station on Saturday night. He has also demanded the resignation of the Railway Minister.

Ajay Rai reached Etawah on Sunday. Talking to journalists, he said, “You called everyone in Delhi, invited everyone. There is no arrangement. There is silence. After that, the most unfortunate thing is that the responsibility of changing the entire platform at New Delhi Railway Station is on the government. The Railway Minister should immediately resign and go home.”

The Congress President said that Etawah is a part of Uttar Pradesh. Etawah is our major and strong district. Our Youth Congress colleagues held a state executive meeting here and organized a good program. We will also thank them.

He said, “When I came to Etawah, I thought that there would have been a lot of development here, it would have shined a lot. I have come after a long time. The situation here is very bad. From roads to traffic jams, the situation is very bad. Congress is moving forward on the strength of its workers and old comrades and sisters. Etawah was our strong fort, will remain so in future too.”

On the question of ‘India’ alliance in Delhi elections, he said that it was our decision that we will move forward strongly. Our vote percentage has increased, our strength has increased.

On the question of Rahul Priyanka going to Kumbh, Ajay Rai said, “We are going on February 19. There will be ‘Har Har Mahadev’.”
