Hindu College, a prestigious institution renowned for its academic excellence and commitment to holistic education, reached a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new faculty block.
The two-story building, named the Sanganeria Faculty Block, is equipped with modern amenities and facilities, including air conditioning, promising to enhance the academic environment and cater to the evolving needs of faculty members. It features a common staffroom and department rooms where teachers can comfortably conduct research work.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Smt. Asha Sanganeria, trustee of the Sant Sanganeria Foundation for Health and Education.
Prof. Anju Srivastava, Principal of Hindu College, expressed her gratitude towards Sant Sanganeria for their benevolent contribution, emphasizing the transformative impact the new faculty block will have on the academic experience at the institution. She remarked, “The Sanganeria Faculty Block is not merely a physical structure but a symbol of commitment to excellence in education and research. It will serve as a hub for innovation and collaboration, enabling our faculty members to further enrich the academic experience of our students.”
The inauguration ceremony was marked by captivating performances from various student societies, including Alankar, Adhrita, North East Cell, and Srijya, who enthralled the audience with their scintillating musical and dance productions.
The event was attended by members of the Hindu Educational Trust, the Governing Body, faculty members, enthusiastic students, and proud alumni, all united in celebrating this momentous occasion in the college’s history.
It is noteworthy that Governing Body member and philanthropist Sant Sanganeria earlier donated towards the makeover of the state-of-the-art Auditorium, a Science Block, and the Fragrance and Flavours Lab at the Research Center at Hindu College.
