Sonam Malik is a young Indian athlete Wrestler who brought a national Gold medal at the National School Games. Sonam also won a Silver medal at the Cadet National Wrestling Championship. In 2019, Sonam claimed the Gold medal at the All-India Inter-University Wrestling Freestyle Women Championship in Bhiwani, Haryana.
In April 2021, Sonam created history by becoming the youngest woman wrestler from India to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics 2021. Sonam reached the final at the Asian Olympic Qualifier tournament in the 62 kg category.
